Support for elderly people

In India, the capacity of the welfare state is limited and it is up to the family to provide social protection for its members. However, for a variety of reasons, many senior citizens find themselves alone, and very often in a precarious situation. Hence, we provide occasional support to a center for the elderly in great need. The center provides comprehensive care for the residents, (accommodation, meals, medical care, etc.) and aims to offer these people decent living conditions and medical care. Recreational activities, designed to help them maintain a sense of belonging and commitment to the community, are also organized. In addition, work is being undertaken to reintegrate some elderly people into their families.
