Committee

The Committee in a few words

We are a small association with a committee of about 5-6 members. We all have a fairly varied background and professions (social worker, actress, development project managers, or international law jurist). What brings us together is our interest in India and our willingness to use our skills and resources to improve the daily lives of disadvantaged populations. Our commitment is always based on the same axis: community action, development and education, with a view to equality and social justice.

In principle, the members of the committee commit themselves for a certain period of time in order to allow a better follow-up of the projects. However, any member of the committee is free to leave whenever he or she wishes, depending on his or her life, travel plans, etc. We meet once a month in the evening in Lausanne (around an aperitif dinner) with a break during July and August. The workload of a committee member varies between 5-10 hours per month (max). The activities are distributed among the members and include project management (correspondence with local partners), fundraising, writing two newsletters per year, account management, website and facebook page management, etc.

We  would be very happy to have new people on our team and  invite those of you who would like to join us to contact us by email or here and visit our website!
